Please Note: The Ruby Dry DH600 is not suitable for use within small enclosed areas or where humidity levels are in excess of 85%rH. Where very high humidity exists it may be required initially to use additional heating in conjunction with the dehumidifier. Not suitable for cold damp cellars or basements or areas with poor ventilation without ensuring adequate air movement to improve the effectiveness of the dehumidifier, for this we recommend the use of portable fans particularly for confined spaces e.g. cellars and small rooms.

	Why use a Ruby Dry Dehumidifier? All extract rates generally indicated on standard compressor type dehumidifiers are based upon conditions found more likely in a Tropical Rain forest. As soon as you use them in normal British conditions their extraction rate drops dramatically. For example, a refrigerated dehumidifier that tells you that it will extract a maximum of 20 liters per day will only do that at its maximum design conditions. In reality you will never see this happen because as soon as your internal temperature drops so will the extraction rate and if the temperature drops low enough you will hardly see any extraction. The Ruby Dry DH600 desiccant or adsorption type is unaffected by internal temperatures and therefore maintains its efficiency throughout a wide temperature range and is therefore more cost effective to use.
