So How does it work
Its very simple. The cooler moist air is drawn in through the air intake filters and is readily adsorbed within a slowly rotating silica based disc that is constructed similar to a honeycomb.
There is a heater in the Ruby Dry that varies its output from 100 to 450w. A small internal fan blows heated air onto a portion of the rotating disc and therefore the moisture is effectively boiled out of the disc to a high temperature vapour. This vapour can immediately condense to a liquid that falls into the reservoir.
A very simple process that has been around for many years commercially but only during the past 4 years have we seen this process in a domestic dehumidifier.
